Grameena Mahila Arthika Seva Kendra (GMASK) is an initiative by the people and PRAWARDA to promote a centre that will help and empower Self Help Groups, particularly the women's groups.

GMASK will act as a centre for development of women in rural areas and orient them to Natural Resource Management and sustainable agriculture. It will develop sustainable livelihood options for the marginalised families of the village, and seek to help all the viable men's Self Help Groups in the same manner.

Gram Gnana Kendra (GGK) is a village level informal institution comprising local resource persons striving for integrated village development.

These resource persons develop and practice innovative ITKs in various fields like agriculture, animal husbandry, home management etc. These are low cost, rely on local resources and are within the managerial capacity of local people and, hence, sustainable.
