The project is a collaborative endeavour of the people (women and men, landless & landed) and their institutions, NGOs and SDC/IC.
- At community level, people's organisations are the main stakeholders of the watershed development activities. At village level, the Village Development Societies (VDS) have a key function in ISPWDK Phase 2. Depending on the area, other village level (e.g. Watershed Management Committee, Self Help Groups, People's Technical Resource Groups, etc.) and watershed level organisations are also stakeholders in the project.
- At project level, the project partners are non governmental organisations, namely MYRADA in Gulbarga, SAMUHA in Koppal and PRAWARDA in Bidar.
- At programme level, Programme Support and Management Unit of SDC/IC is mandated with the coordination, support and facilitation of overall project activities of ISPWDK.
