The project does not operate in isolation and hence it is linked with other actors at district, state and national level.

Linkages with district and state level departments (Watershed Development Department, Line departments) and Panchayat Raj Institutions are pursued for an optimal coordination of ongoing government schemes with project interventions and to enable the required integration of development of common property resources owned by the state (forest land, revenue land) in the watersheds. Moreover, this provides opportunities to contribute to the desired policy discussions.

Institutional collaboration with resource organisations such as AME, WOTR, MANAGE, BAIF, GREEN foundation, BASIX/IGS etc. are centred around capacity building and technical and methodological support to partners and PSMU.

Coordination with other development projects (other bilateral and multilateral projects, NGO projects) is required for joint learning and dissemination of results with innovative approaches and techniques.
