Experience in Rural Development:

  • Residential assignments in developing countries: Kenya (6 months); Sri Lanka (2 years); Nepal (3 years); India (2 years)
  • Short term consultancies: in various African and Asian countries – in last 5 years: Bhutan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal
  • Research and teaching (to Masters level) in rural development forestry: 4 years
  • Programme backstopping and support: 5 years

Experiences based publications:

  • Over 20 publications in international development journals, research papers, etc. including IIED Gatekeeper Series, ODI NR Perspectives, ODI Rural Development Forestry Network, FAO Research Paper, Forest Trees and People Newsletter, Oxford Forestry Review, etc.
