planning, monitoring, evaluation
Planning
The priority setting for planning will be in the Phase 2 villages and watershed areas. It is expected that the participatory micro planning for watershed treatment in 300 Ha will be complete by the end of 2005.
Monitoring and evaluation
There will be monthly reviews at the Village Development Society level, Self Affinity Group level, Resource Centre level and at the staff level. Half yearly Joint Programme Reviews will be held and the progress reports for PIRC, PSC and SDC/IC will be produced.
Expected Results:
- The programme will be monitored effectively.
- Correlation between programme and finance will be achieved through the Joint Programme Review.
- Baseline data will be made available.
- A consolidated plan will emerge.
Documentation
Documentation will be done in all Phase 2 villages and in the watershed area.
Through the process of documentation, the project will be able to develop case studies, obtain photographs and video documentation, training materials on focus areas and major interventions in the areas of:
- Watershed rehabilitation
- Agriculture production
- Livelihood and Livestock
- Village Institutions
